And who knew she was even married? For this famous family to keep something secret is really amazing, especially something this big! Remember all the little things that her mother pulled that made headlines? Sure you do, the rantings on Twitter, going around town with her breasts exposed, those new tattoos?
OK, 23-year-old Frances Cobain married this guy named Isaiah Silva in June of 2014. Isaiah, 31, is in a rock band called The Eeries. They had been together for 5 years. Just imagine having Courtney Love as a mother-in-law?
The name Frances Bean Silva just doesn’t have the same punch as Frances Bean Cobain, so hopefully she will take back her maiden name.
Notice the eerie resemblance to her father Kurt Cobain? I hope she didn’t marry him just for those looks. It doesn’t look like she married him for his money, as she is now trying to protect her $450 million inheritance she received from her father. Actually I’m surprised that she ended up with that much money after her mother, Courtney Love, went through a lot of money, and tried to keep all that cash from Frances Bean.
Not only does her divorced husband Isaiah Silva, look so much like Kurt Cobain, I was shocked to see how much Frances Cobain looked like her mother in these recent photos. And I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not! (You be the judge.)
Frances Bean Cobain, in divorce documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, asked that all premarital assets be considered separate property. Those assets include the $450-million-dollar inheritance she received from her father, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana fame.
Although Frances Bean Cobain does not appear to have had a prenuptial agreement, her husband, Isaiah Silva may not be entitled to a portion of Frances Bean’s assets because California state law treats inheritance as the property of the sole individual, and its unlikely Silva would have any claim to it.
But ex-husband Isaiah Silva could however be awarded appreciation of the assets that occurred during their marriage, as well as any homes, cars, or other valuables purchased while the two were together.
And in the divorce documents, Cobain indicated an openness to pay spousal support. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. And they had no children.
